Long term view on NTPC

After the announcement that no private parties (companies) can enter in generation of Nuclear power (Electricity) for seven years NTPC has become one of my favorite.

More over with its existing operations, ongoing expansion plans and high profitability, NTPC is favourably placed in the power generation space.

Further, the shortage in power supply, which is expected to remain in the medium to long term, will keep the capacity utilization of power plants at a high level.

The Project in Mind -

National Thermal Power Corporation (NTPC) will commence the commercial production of the second 500 Mega Watt at Sipat Super Thermal Power Project in this year.

With this the commercial capacity of Sipat Super Thermal Power Project, Stage-II will come to 1000 Mega Watt.

As soon as this project is started it will double its capacity and also increase its revenue adding profits in balance sheets.
